There is something I love about a winter bride. They are brave, elegant and unique. I wanted to create a bridal editorial that reflects all of the things that make a winter wedding so special. Bend, Oregon is one of the most beautiful cities in Oregon, and in winter- is covered by a blanket of shimmering white snow. This shoot was especially dear to my heart because I will be the photographer for our model Heidi‘s wedding this summer and having this experience with her was so special. She was more than willing to embrace the elements and stand in below freezing temperatures looking stunning. Sharayah and Tarah of Blush Events really made the whole shoot come together. They took all of my ideas and completely blew me away with the end result. Some of my favorite details of this shoot were the gorgeous Elizabeth Mackenzie gown and it’s subtle baby blue color. The way the dress looked in the snow was just breathtaking. I had to take a second look to see where the dress ended and the snow began. The touches of silver and gold really gave the shoot that winter magic we were looking for. I am so happy with the way all of the details came together for this beautiful shoot at Pronghorn Resort.
