This past week was nothing short of a whirlwind. If you don’t know what WPPI is, it’s basically a huge photography expo that brings photographers from all over the world to Las Vegas once a year. This was my first year, and although I had heard about what to expect- I could have never predicted the things I would take away from this experience. For me, of the biggest highlights of the trip was this absolutely stunning shootout put together by Julie Paisley and Jeremy Chou. Myself, along with a number of photographers all hopped on a bus and headed out into the desert to Red Rock Canyon. I would have been perfectly content with one model- but instead we had the opportunity to photograph four different models, all flawlessly styled by Janna Brown. From the cotton candy skies to the flowing fabrics and one of a kind floral arrangements- it was a photographer’s dream. (I have dreamt about it a few times since!) I could hardly wait to get my film scans back and share these with you guys! I am already looking forward to next year.
